Who We Are
"Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the one who hears it and not in the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference." - Max Lucado
Day 3 Praying for Your Future Spouse
Adapted from pages 46-47 of Gunn and Goyer's
Praying for Your Future Husband
How do I pray for God to develop patience in my future spouse?
Pray for the person to turn to God and that God's peace will help him/her be inwardly calm and willing to wait.
Pray the person will have a quiet and steady faithfulness to God.
Pray your spouse will be content in every state in which the spouse finds themselves in.
Pray your partner's eyes will be focused on things to come rather than things he/she wished he/she had now.
Pray your spouse will not push for answers before the time is right.
Pray your spouse will trust God's sense of timing.
Pray he/she will be reminded of all the times God has been patient with him/her.
Pray your spouse waits with hope and expectancy.
As always, everything you pray about and for someone, pray for yourself to begin developing these qualities as well!

Praying is the lifeline to our caring, loving Lord.
Prayers here contain two general themes: your relationship with God and others' relationship with God, such as friends, family, future spouse, etc.
